Hello beautiful people! (Yes, you. You are beautiful.)
After a little summer hiatus, I’m so glad to be back on the blog! I hope I was able to meet you at one of my classes this summer.
I’m so happy to announce that I’m going to start teaching at Power Life Yoga! PLY is where I found a yoga practice that serves me. It’s where I discovered my strength. It’s where I learned to love myself, and I’m so happy to be teaching in a place that feels like home to me. Most of all, I’m excited to bring a body-positive, curvy-friendly vibe. At Power Life, I’ll be teaching Power Yoga, a form of yoga that was created in the United States. It’s fast-paced and intended to help you realize your strength and find your edge. You sweat, you move, and it’s amazing. It’s a tough class but I’ve learned how to modify the class to make it accessible for all bodies.
Come check it out! One of the great things about Power Life is that everyone gets a FREE WEEK. Truly, an entire week to try the various classes they offer at all of their locations. You will find me at Power Life Yoga’s downtown location on Thursdays at 7:45pm and Saturdays at 11:30am.
Teaching at Power Life Yoga isn’t the only big change. This week I started a new day job! It’s a job that will be a little more demanding than my past job, but it will allow me to get back into politics and dust off some of my old political skills. With that, I’m backing off on my teaching commitments until I can find a rhythm that serves me. While I’m picking up some classes at Power Life, I’m backing off on my private lessons, and no longer teaching at the YMCA on Wednesdays.
I look forward to seeing you soon!
